Budget Friendly Nativity Wreath

Have you ever seen a nativity on a wreath? I don’t think I have. But why not?

Some Nativity Scenes are really expensive. I found this one I think at Dollar General. My Mom painted it all white and then outlined the edges in metallic goldish bronze to create a shadow affect and make the silhouettes stand out more. She painted the Star all Gold.

I bought the evergreen wreath from Walmart for about three dollars. I think the nativity costs two dollars and the ribbon costs less than one dollar. So for six dollars you have a great decoration for your door, window or other places in your home.

I think Nativity Scenes are great to have somewhere in your house for the Christmas Season. The birth of our Savior is the reason for the season.

She wired the nativity scene to the wreath and made gold bows. We made the bow at the bottom and put a gold bow HANGER at the top with another bow. We had other bows all around the wreath but decided to take those off since they interfered with and took away from the Nativity.

It doesn’t show up very well against my white door in pictures (in real life it does) so I hung it up on my bricks outside for a better view. My front door has too much glass. I wanted to do it justice because for so little money it really turned out elegant.

I think you would find making this craft is very therapeutic. Lord knows my Mom and I have been stressed out this year. She had throat cancer and after she went through all her treatments and received good news the cancer was gone my Stepdad passed away from heart failure. She said she would go crazy if she didn’t have something like this to do.

Thank you for reading my blog!! It means a lot to me!
