Jazz Up a Plain Lamp With Beads and Trim
There was not a thing wrong with this lamp. But it lacked personality. My Mom added black trim and beads and now it is has personality PLUS.

Sorry my pictures are not that great. I forgot to stage some before we took it to our craft booth for sale. But I think it might give you an idea to jazz up a lamp or two that you own. It needed elevation and we would have used books if in our home, but all we had that day in the booth was the square block.

We bought the lamp at a thrift store and the beads and trim at Hobby Lobby in the sewing section by the fabrics on a roll.

Lighting is important when you have an antique booth or flea market booth. Lighting adds coziness and atmosphere. Leave a comment if you have done anything similar and give us more ideas to try. I have some boring lamps in my own home that I plan to jazz up just as soon as I go back to Hobby Lobby for more beads.
