Black and White Inspiration

Hi Everyone!

Everyone seems to love Black and White, whether it be buffalo plaid, checkerboard, stripes or houndstooth, it is a classic! I had this scratched up black tray from a garage sale junking day that needed some TLC.

It had a fleur de lis painted on it, but I painted over it and added antiquing wax to seal and protect the paint. The wax really helps keep the black paint from scratching so, so easily.

I added silver RUB N BUFF to the hob nail looking trim to match the silver reindeer. I had wanted to use a Santa as the main attraction, but couldn’t find anymore the day I went shopping. But I love how the reindeer turned out.

I used a large houndstooth print poinsettia and silver floral stems at the bottom. And of course I had to add bling from TOTALLY DAZZLED to the middle of the flower.

You can hang this on a wall or put it on an easel. I put it on a black easel and you can barely see it because the poinsettia is so large.

I hope you like our inspirations and we give you an idea to make some of your own. Thanks for being here and supporting our little business. My Mom and I love to craft. It is our therapy!

I hope you will follow me on all my social media.
