Snowman Christmas Pumpkin
Hi Everyone!
This was a fun pumpkin to make. I wanted an elf to sit on my pumpkin but couldn’t find one that I liked well enough and also matched my fabric. When I saw this little snowman with his cute little face, I knew I wanted to add him onto this Christmas pumpkin.
I chose a red, white, and black plaid fabric that screams Christmas. It was on sale at Hobby Lobby for half off. It is soft and lightweight flannel. I buy a yard and cut it down the FOLD. Please watch my FACEBOOK LIVE and you can see the process of how I do this. Click here to see that video. This idea originally came from my Hero/Shero Kathy at Royale Funky Junque. Go check out all her creations on her Facebook page.
I used some red garland beads (from Walmart) to put along the grooves of the pumpkin.
The only thing I may add later is more ribbon for his bow tie to make it stand out more from the red poinsettias.
I think he turned out really cute. An idea you may want to try is to buy some of the white fluffy fabric and make the pumpkin into a SNOWBALL. I thought about that too late. Maybe next year. lol….
