Trash to Treasure, Metal Vase
Hi My Blog Reader Friends! Tomorrow is the one year birthday of my BLOG. I want to thank all of you for reading, looking at my photos, liking, commenting and subscribing! It brings joy to my heart to know there are people who like what I post. This post is going to be another story of Trash to Treasure.
I bought this metal vase at a thrift store and knew it had possibilities. I decided to make it shabby chic with a touch of elegance.

The first thing I did was to spray paint it white with Rustoleum 2x Paint and Primer. You could also use chalk paint. Anything that is going to stick to metal.

Next, I used Valspar Antiquing Wax to make it vintage looking and to bring out the details.

I didn’t take a picture after I finished antiquing it or during my Rub n Buff application. Sorry about that. But I did use the Antique Gold Rub n Buff just to highlight the handles and engraved areas. I had thought about putting black and white stripes on it but thought it looked great and elegant just shabby chic white and gold. More pictures below.

Thank you for reading my blog!! It means a lot to me!
