Patriotic Ideas
Hi Everyone!
Do you need some ideas for Americana Decor? Remember, many people decorate all summer with Americana. It takes into account Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. I also include other Patriotic Ideas for your lifestyle such as a manicure and jewelry.
Here are a few we did for this summer.
I changed my spring chicken wire tote bag into Americana. I use this as a door hanger for my garage door. This is the door almost EVERYONE uses to come in and out of my home. This tote really brightens my day as I travel in and out.

Another cross that my Mom made was this PEACE cross. I think peace is on everyone’s mind as these holidays pass by. This cross looks similar to a Texas flag. Texas is our home state so that is not unusual. Mom used scrabble tiles to write out the word PEACE.
Below is a picture of my faux fireplace mantel all decked out with Americana. The USA frame with bead board background was made by my Mom. I did add antiquing gel to it for a vintage vibe.

The chicken wire frame that changes with the seasons is pictured below with a star in the middle. I will probably change this out to a sunflower later in the summer.

Below are two crosses my Mom made and she used bandanas and stars to decorate them with.

I had to celebrate with a manicure too! Red is a little too bright for me, so I went with a royal blue color and had her put stars on the ring fingers.
Below are some bracelets I made. I bought the blue beads at Walmart. The rhinestone bracelets came ready-made from Hobby Lobby.
