Mardi Gras Gnome
Even though MOST Mardi Gras balls and parades have been canceled this year, I still wanted to paint a few Mardi Gras arts and crafts projects. So the first one I have finished is my cute little gnome. This is an art kit you can buy from my website if you wish.
Hobby Lobby does not have any Mardi Gras decorations or supplies this year. So if you need some kind of Mardi Gras project, this could be the one.
I traced it first onto an 8×10 canvas board. I drew this out and I knew where I wanted all my colors. It looked good in my mind but you never know if it will look good in reality. I do think it turned out cute. Especially cute for an art kit to help children learn to be creative.
I have stepped out some of the steps below. You can add or subtract any colors you wish.
It still needed a few things. So I had a cookie stencil with Mardi Gras on it and since it fit perfectly on the gnome, I went ahead and stenciled it on. I also added dots to the background.
Thank you for reading my blog!! It means a lot to me!
