Ribbon on a Twig Farmhouse Ornament (Buffalo Plaid)

Here is another simplistic ornament. You can make these with any color ribbon to fit any decor. It really didn’t cost me anything. I used a twig from my yard and ribbon and berries from my stash. I made this the same as the red one I posted about yesterday. Only this time I used Black and White Buffalo Plaid Ribbon.

These little ornaments would be perfect to put on a gift instead of a bow or in addition to a bow. Christmas will be here before you know it. Where did the time go?

See below for more details of how I made this.

First on the list was to choose which tree limbs are the straightest and cleanest. I use my clippers to cut them down to the size I want.
This one was the straightest.

Below is the link to the video I made while I was making it LIVE on Facebook.

All finished! It could be trimmed at an angle even more, but I love it!

I think it is homespun looking. Primitive, rustic, farmhouse or whatever word you use to describe it. Here is a another word for it….CUTE.

I put berries at the top. I am fresh out of stars.

I did not tie a knot. Only a half knot. Both the ribbons had wire.

I did trim the sides more. I still think it could use another haircut, but I am going to leave it for now.

Thank you for reading my blog about my second twig tree!!
