Scrap Wood + Dollar Store Ornaments = Shelf Sitters
Look what can be made from scrap lumber. I looked around at what we could make next. We had miscellaneous ornaments from the dollar stores and scrap lumber. So we put them together. Not a big difference but still a difference and step up from just handing someone a dollar store ornament as a gift. We will not be pricing these under 5-6 dollars. Very reasonable gift for even children to buy.

We are making my Mom a “Mother-in-law Suite” so we have lots of scrap lumber laying around. We scooped it all up and made some really cute, last minute Christmas Gifts ideas.

The scrap pieces of wood help a dollar store ornament (even though they are cute “as is”) stand out a little more. Ordinary to Extraordinary. Simple yet more substantial.
We plan to take these to our next craft show and wrap them up in clear cellophane bags with a bow and sell them as quick gifts for the teacher, mail man, hair dresser, nail technician or any last minute guest at your house.
