Aqua Candlesticks
Hi Everyone! Aqua is my favorite color as you will discover if you follow my blog. Turquoise, aqua, teal it doesn’t matter, I love them all.

So……..I had to paint some of these candlesticks in Aqua. The set with brown lowlights will probably stay in my house instead of going to the craft show. lol.
I painted one set Caribbean blue straight out of the paint bottle. I painted the aqua green set from a mixture I made trying to get my sister’s favorite color, sage green.

At first the color looked so flat and plain. I love to mix colors. So I went back and put some brown on the candles that were deep aqua. It really helped give them more character.

We added ribbons and raffia and voila’.

Mom made a wood garland to match and I added matching ribbon.

In the picture below are the aqua green set of candlesticks. There is a difference but it is slight. If you favor blue you will love the set above. If you favor green you will like the set below.
