I love bells at Christmas time. Mom made the pattern and used her power tools to cut this perfectly sized door hanger bell. Keep reading for more info…..Ring a ling, hear them sing….
We made two like this with buffalo plaid. This particular one I made the Buffalo Plaid with a chalk transfer. I made the bow on a Facebook Live video. It is linked below.
As you can see from the picture below, it is a good size door hanger. Not too small and not too big. Just right.
Below is a closeup of the bow. The ribbon was so pretty to work with. It was a deep dark red and our Rustoleum “Red Currant” paint matched perfectly. I am an independent Chalk Couture Designer and I used the small buffalo plaid transfer to make the print on this bell. I love it!! It is so, so easy to use. You do have to seal it. I sprayed a matte clear finish on top.
I also sprayed the “Merry Christmas” with a soft satin clear sealer.
I love Christmas songs. Many songs make mention of bells. Many movies do too. I am glad we made two door hangers to sell at our next craft show.
Hope your holidays are filled with cheerful bells ringing.
