Top 14 Beauty Items I Recommend
I used to have a health and beauty channel on YouTube a few years ago. I no longer do the videos but I do still use some awesome products and would like to recommend them to you if you are interested.

NUMBER ONE: Aveda Pure Abundance
This is the greatest product to use when your hair is clean or not so clean. I have a cow lick at the crown of my head. Even when my hair is freshly washed, it wants to part in the back. I sprinkle this product in my hair and rub it in with the tips of my fingers and voila the part is gone. It is like a powder that turns to liquid (sorta) and makes your hair separate and not stick to each other or stick to your scalp. I have the most sensitive scalp and I use this with no problems. I highly recommend it even though it is not inexpensive. But it is reasonable for as long as it lasts and compared to buying dry shampoos, conditioners, hair sprays, teasing your hair, etc…

NUMBER TWO: Kiss Press On Nails
I use press on nails for special occasions. I am a crafter so my hands and nails take a beating. I use these nails if my nails break off into the quick. They do not hurt your nails like acrylic or gel or shellac does. At least that has been my experience. My favorite to order is the “short” or “real short” versions of the french manicure. You can always polish these after a few days if you get tired of the french manicure. I do recommend using Nailene glue to put these on with which is my next item below.

NUMBER THREE: Nailene Nail Glue
I use this produce because it was recommended to me by a lady I trust that does Facebook Lives and has to look her best because she sells clothes and jewelry. She said this makes her Kiss press on nails last over a week.

NUMBER FOUR: Maybelline Concealer
I have VERY dark circles under my eyes. This concealer is the best for me. I tried several and did a YouTube video about the comparisons. I tested high end and average cost and inexpensive concealers. I wasn’t even considering cost I just wanted to find the best for my skin type. I found this to be the best. The color is also very good for brightening under my eyes. It does not cake up in my fine lines like other products do.
I do recommend using Laura Mercier brightening powder to set this concealer with. It was the combination of the two that I tested and these two won my under eye test. I could not find a link for this on Amazon.

NUMBER FIVE: Teez With Eez
I mentioned earlier in Number One that my hair has an awful cow lick. There are times when I do have to tease my hair. When I do I use a smaller version of this product. This is a newer and better version. It has handles! If I use other combs and teasing brushes my hair will just release all the tease as I smooth out the rat’s nest look. With Teez with Eez you don’t really have to smooth it out because it is such a light tease to begin with. I do use hairspray sometimes before and always after I tease. If you REALLY want your hair to have volume and stay teased….follow these instructions:
- Take a small section of your hair.
2. Spray with hairspray.
3. Tease.
4. Run a straightening iron over that section to lock in the tease.
5. Hairspray again then smooth down into place. This will stay all day!
My hair is long, so I don’t use this method anymore but I HIGHLY recommend it for fine hair.

Number Six: Aveeno moisturizing body wash
I have been using this for all of this year. My skin is ultra sensitive and this is one of those soaps that I can use and my eczema does not flare up.

Number Seven: IT Cosmetics CC Cream
I have used this foundation for years. I love this brand of cosmetics and what’s more my skin loves it. I blend it in with a beauty blender type sponge (don’t rub, just pounce). See number thirteen below. It has a high SPF (50+) which I love. I would say it is medium coverage. When I want or need full coverage, I use Estee’ Lauder Double Wear. But on a regular basis I use CC Cream. I use it in conjunction with IT Cosmetic Powder below.

Numer Eight: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder
This powder is very fine. It can be used under the eyes as well as the face. The CC Cream does need to be set so this is a great combination.

Number Nine: IT Cosmetics SuperHero Liquid Eyeliner
I have found this eyeliner to be the best for my eyes. I do “wing” my eyeliner out just a little bit. I searched high and low for eyeliners that do not smear off in a couple of hours. This one STAYS PUT! I guess I have oily eyelids. Who knew? But I cannot keep pencils or other eyeliners on my eyes for any length of time. They all end up in my crease. Not a pretty sight. I use this eyeliner and put a touch of shadow on top to smooth out the edges.

Number Ten: Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara
Sounds crazy, but this is a great mascara. It doesn’t overdo my lashes. I do use some coconut oil to take it off at night but it has great staying power and does NOT flake or smear.

Number Eleven: Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant Anti-Perspirant Stick
You may wonder why I included this. My glands under my arms will swell at almost any anti-perspirant I try. If you look at the ingredients in a lot of deodorant/anti-perspirants you will find they have metals in them. I am not saying this one doesn’t, but I am saying I can use it. I tried using a coconut oil concoction recipe I found and it worked somewhat but the smell was not that great. This cashmere mist is great and will not interfere with your favorite perfumes. It is expensive, but it is one of those things that last a good while and to me it is worth it not to have swollen underarms.

Numer Twelve: Peter Thomas Roth Night Serum
I just started using this last Christmas. My skin loves it compared to any product that has retinol in it. Remember my crazy sensitive skin. I believe it can be used all over your body. It is NOT harsh at all. I can use it morning and night. My skin is VERY dry. I use it under my Merle Norman wrinkle cream. (The one in the blue jar)

Number Thirteen: Real Techniques Beauty Blender Sponges
I used the large one for my foundation and the small one for under my eyes. I put my makeup and/or concealer on with a brush. Then to eliminate the brush strokes and to keep the product on my skin, I use a pouncing motion with these sponges. Then put powder on afterwards.

Number Fourteen: Belle Beauty by Kim Gravel Kisser Fixer Lip Kit Trio
I love the name of this product. Kisser Fixer. The color nude is great if your skin coloring is close to mine. She does make other colors but I couldn’t find them on Amazon.
